Stand with Kashmir

You might remember the last time when Mr. Drabu got a D minus for his article? That was a perfect example of ‘How Not to Write an Essay!” Keeping up with the tradition, and an emphasis that our readers in Kashmir deserve better, our resident Maashterji reviews another article below. This one, written by NDTV’s Bureau Chief in Srinagar, Kashmir, was recently published online on the channel’s website. Maashterji sincerely hopes that the review will particularly benefit our young and aspiring writers, and help them think about and identify the normalized erasures of facts in discourses about Kashmir. The article below is just an example of seemingly benign writing which hides more than it reveals and must be called out.
